Dublin, Ireland. 4 February 2019Sysnet Global Solutions, the leading provider of cyber security and compliance solutions, is proud to announce that two of its clients – Barclaycard Payment Solutions and Lloyds Bank Cardnet – are shortlisted for two separate awards at this year’s Card and Payments Awards.

Now in its 14th year, the prestigious awards recognise customer service, excellence and innovation in the UK and Irish card and payments industry. Eligible organisations compete in a number of categories, judged by an independent panel of industry experts.

Lloyds Bank Cardnet, in partnership with Sysnet, has been shortlisted for the Best Security or Anti-Fraud Development award. Lloyds has been recognised for its Compliance Plus concierge service, which harnesses Sysnet’s Proactive Data Security (PDS) technology to tackle PCI non-compliance. Further, Barclaycard Payment Solutions will battle it out to be the Best Achievement in Customer Service for the company’s Proactive Security Service. The business, in partnership with Sysnet, is delivering the latest security programme roll out to support Level 3 and 4 merchants in the UK.

Sysnet is aiding both businesses with improving the security posture of their small to mid-sized merchants, and in the processes assisting those merchants in achieving and maintaining compliance with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). The standard, launched in 2004, is a set of comprehensive requirements developed by the founding payment brands of the PCI Security Council for enhancing the security of payment account data, transactions and payment systems. The trio are committed to providing a safer payments ecosystem for both businesses and consumers.

It’s key for us to continue providing best-in-class cyber security and compliance solutions that help businesses thrive. One of our primary goals is to eliminate PCI non-compliance fees by helping acquiring organisations to replace them with managed security and compliance solutions. When we see a shortlisting like this it confirms the impact we’re having on the industry and strengthens our commitment to our game-changing approach to security and compliance for SMBscontinued Gabriel.
