Project Manager


We have a vacancy for a Project Manager based in Poznan.


The purpose of the role is to project manage the Business As Usual (BAU) side of the Sysnet Business, The BAU side of the business works on a 3 week release cadence with small developments and customizations or upgrades done for a specific number of clients in each release. The main responsibilities of this role are to keep the process running smoothly by planning, managing, reporting and communicating effectively with the PMO in Dublin and all other stakeholders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with key business stakeholders, team members and external stakeholders (clients & vendors).

  • Must be seen as a ‘go to’ person and easy to speak with, someone with high EQ.

  • Establishing and maintaining best practice documentation and project material

  • Establishment and maintenance of relevant KPI’s

  • Establishment and continuous monitoring of the risk and issues log

  • Resource planning and monitoring

  • Establishment and monitoring of project management standards, plans and materials.

  • Must be willing to take control and responsibility.

  • Management & maintenance of the master schedule of deliverables

  • Release management, scheduling of product releases, BAU releases (deployment of GA product to clients), coordinating the resolution & deployment of production issues, ensuring all clients are maintained on a recent code base, managing infrastructure upgrades

  • Creation, maintenance & communication of delivery boards in Jira

  • Collaboration and co-ordination of cross functional technology & business teams

  • Problem solving, re-planning technology deliverables when necessary.

  • Understanding the technical implications and inter-dependencies between projects & initiatives

  • Understanding resource allocations across teams

  • Facilitating & managing actions from the Global Projects Daily Meeting attended by Product, Engineering, QA, IT, Operations, PMO

  • Facilitating & coordination of product localisation activities

  • Jira maintenance (projects, workflows, ticket management)

  • Confluence management – team site

Role Specific Skills

  • PMP or other PM certification

  • Jira and Confluence experience

  • Good knowledge of waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies

Qualification, Experience and Skills Required

  • At least a basic knowledge of data and cyber security threats

  • Good working knowledge of Desktop technologies and environments.

  • Good all-round understanding of web technologies

  • Web application development, securing web applications (advantageous)

  • Basic networking knowledge, e.g. firewall, switches, routers etc.

  • Basic computer security knowledge and skills

  • Front line customer facing or customer support experience
